Rev. David
Elliott
To
our community to join us as Senior Minister beginning September
1, 2005. We are blessed!
David
Elliott a first career as an electrician and maintenance manager
led Rev. Elliott to Unity Village, where he lived and worked for
more than 12 years. He was a writer for Silent Unity, the
international prayer ministry of the Unity movement, and a
manager in the Silent Unity prayer ministry there. He has also
written for, helped lead, taught in, and been active in
ministries in Unity Village, MO, Austin, TX, Blue Springs, MO,
and Independence, MO. Most recently, he was Senior Minister at
Unity Center of Columbia, MO.
David grew up in several small towns near the Gulf Coast of
Texas, and lived in Austin for many years as an adult. He has
two sons and three grandchildren.
A
life-long student, David has an Associate of Arts in
Communication from Austin Community College and a Bachelor of
Liberal Arts from University of Missouri-Kansas City. He notes
that he has been involved in some kind of classroom activity
every year since Kindergarten.
Rev. Elliott brings to his messages a rich appreciation for a
variety of activities, including photography, art, writing,
reading, movies, the Internet, traveling, and
grandchild-holding.
