We welcome

Rev. David Elliott

To our community to join us as Senior Minister beginning September 1, 2005.  We are blessed!

David Elliott a first career as an electrician and maintenance manager led Rev. Elliott to Unity Village, where he lived and worked for more than 12 years. He was a writer for Silent Unity, the international prayer ministry of the Unity movement, and a manager in the Silent Unity prayer ministry there. He has also written for, helped lead, taught in, and been active in ministries in Unity Village, MO, Austin, TX, Blue Springs, MO, and Independence, MO. Most recently, he was Senior Minister at Unity Center of Columbia, MO.

David grew up in several small towns near the Gulf Coast of Texas, and lived in Austin for many years as an adult.  He has two sons and three grandchildren.

A life-long student, David has an Associate of Arts in Communication from Austin Community College and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from University of Missouri-Kansas City.  He notes that he has been involved in some kind of classroom activity every year since Kindergarten.

Rev. Elliott brings to his messages a rich appreciation for a variety of activities, including photography, art, writing, reading, movies, the Internet, traveling, and grandchild-holding.
